The Trustees of the TSB Community Trust are the Shareholders of TSB Group Ltd, a holding company that manages the Trust’s asset investments. These are 100% of TSB Bank Ltd and a controlling interest in Fisher Funds Management Ltd.
The TSB Community Trust derives its income from these assets, which as per the Trust Deed, can be applied to supporting not-for-profit organisations within our legislative boundary, towards “charitable, cultural, philanthropic, recreational and other purposes beneficial to the community".

On 31st May 2018, Kelly Marriner and Hayden Wano will have completed their terms as Trustees, this will result in two vacancies on the Board.
The Minister of Finance is charged with the responsibility of appointing Trustees, and each year the Minister invites the TSB Community Trust to put forward nominations of suitable people to be considered for appointment as a Trustee. The Trust may make recommendations to the Minister. As well as seeking nominations from the TSB Community Trust, the Minister can also receive nominations directly from any other interested party.
To assist the Minister to identify suitable individuals for possible consideration as Trustees, expressions of interest on a confidential basis are welcomed from members of the Taranaki community. In making appointments the Minister takes into consideration several factors, including:
In this instance the Trust is looking for individuals to complement the existing Trustee expertise with demonstrable experience and/or knowledge as described below.
If you reside within the Trust’s legislative boundary (refer to https://www.tsbtrust.org.nz/about-the-trust/bound... ), have significant networks within Taranaki and a passion to see our region succeed, you may be motivated to become part of the Trust.
As well as the above, the Trust is seeking individuals that have a background in working in or with the community particularly in positions with significant contracts or relationships with crown entities and local government. Knowledge of tikanga and connections to iwi networks is required for at least one of these positions. Experience in the area of social entrepreneurship would also be an advantage.
Applicants should also be able to demonstrate alignment to the Trust’s Core Values.
