The TSB Festival of Lights kicks off on Sunday 16 December, and you can get there for free with the Tranzit regional buses!

Once you’re off the bus and at Pukekura Park, be prepared to experience the festival like never before. You’ll be greeted at the Bellringer Pavilion by a festival hub with lots of exciting features. Friendly volunteers will be manning the info hub, glow face painting will be popping up and if you’re hungry there’s Light Bites, a range of food trucks serving delicious food on selected evenings. Check out the festival website for dates Light Bites will be on.

If you make it past all the fun at the festival hub, you’ll find 16 lighting installations – including 10 that are brand new! And for New Year’s Eve, there’s Lights All Night – a New Year celebration featuring a silent disco, glow lawn bowls, a 9pm countdown for the kids and music and lights until midnight. Events are listed on the festival website.

To make sure you don’t miss the festival fun, catch the free buses that are proudly supported by the TSB Community Trust. Buses will be departing from: Hawera/Eltham/Stratford/Inglewood; Urenui/Waitara/Bell Block; Opunake/Okato/Oakura; on these dates:
